The idea for PI GLUTEN FREE first came to Founder Andrea Sorkin when she found that a gluten-free diet helped reduce some of her allergy symptoms. Frustrated by unsavory junk food substitutes that dominated the gluten-free aisle, Sorkin began baking pies that featured wholesome and delicious gluten-free ingredients rather than an empty shell.

Today, Pi has applied this approach of thinking outside the breadbox to offer a selection of sweet and savory dishes. Pi’s focus on “pi” — simply defined as food that has an outer layer and a filling, translates to infinite choices that are both pure and delicious. Pi’s menu includes quiche, potpies, dessert pies, knish, and more!  All of Pi’s foods are manufactured in a gluten-free environment and feature locally grown produce. Additionally, Pi is committed to continuing Sorkin’s mission of building support for people living with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

We're taking a temporary hiatus to focus on R&D. Based on feedback, demand for Pi is exceeding our ability to deliver. In response, we're converting our line to frozen and ready-to-HEAT, which will help us transport our foods to Pi-loving people nationally. Everyone deserves a piece of the pie.
